Sandy began her "life after" on July 22, 1996, when her 18-year-old son, Jason, died in an electrical accident. Four years after his death, she realized she had not only survived the unthinkable but had found gifts along the way. She spent most of the next year writing, and in the spring of 2002, Love Never Dies: A Mother's Journey from Loss to Love was published by Jodere Group of San Diego.Sandy and her husband, Dave, live in Riverton, Wyoming with their dog and cat, Otis and Motley. She believes very strongly in the "Gifts" of grief and the immortality of love. She shares those beliefs on her website, in online and hard copy publications, on radio shows, and in speaking engagements across the country. |
